We provide a full range of plumbing and gas heating services for residential and commercial property. Whatever the size of the job that needs doing – whether it’s a problem with a central heating system, a new boiler that’s required, a kitchen or bathroom installation that needs attention or replacing, or a dripping tap in a kitchen or bathroom – we can handle it.
Our plumbers and engineers are fully qualified and are highly skilled. Our prices are affordable, and all our work is guaranteed. We understand that when a plumber or a gas engineer comes to your house, you expect him to arrive on time: we know it’s frustrating to have to wait for a tradesman who is late in arriving. And, when he does arrive, you expect him to be courteous, clean and reliable. We therefore make every effort to arrive promptly, to complete our work with a minimum of fuss, and to leave your home as clean as we found it.
Boiler installations and servicing
We all take our hot water boilers for granted. It’s only when they malfunction that we really appreciate what they do. All the plumbers and gas engineers in our team are fully trained in modern boiler installation and servicing, and, are Gas Safe accredited. This means that when you book a job with us, you will always have peace of mind about the professionalism and safety of our work.
Gas Safe accreditation replaced the CORGI scheme back in 2009 and all gas engineers across the UK are now required by law to carry their Gas Safecard with them at all times when working. Whichever company you choose for your boiler installation, servicing or breakdown, always make sure the tradesman who will carry out the work can produce proof of his accreditation.
Plumbing, heating installations and maintenance
The Jolly Plumbers team will take care of all of your plumbing and heat installation needs and help keep those installations working safely at an optimum level. We can cater to all your needs, whether it’s a simple overflow fitting or a complete immersion heater installation. We can also carry out all types of central heating system improvements such as upgrading boilers, radiators, pumps and valves or new controls and thermostats to get your heating working well again.
System power flushing
The services we provide includes system power flushing. This can improve the efficiency of your heating system and boiler. It involves flushing the pipework to eliminate the sludge and corrosion that builds up over time. We will use this technique if your heating system or boiler is working poorly. Indications that a flush may be needed include: • A contaminant build-up in the heating pump • Knocking or banging in the radiators and pipework • Cold areas on the radiators whilst in operation • Corrosion in the radiators or pipework We always recommend having one of our plumbers perform a system power flush when a boiler is installed or upgraded as this will lessen the chances that your heating system will suffer such problems for many years afterwards.
Gas Safety Certificate
If you own rental property in the UK, you should know that one of the regulations that are in place to ensure the safety of your tenants covers the safety of any gas equipment in the property. In essence, landlords must have a certificate that shows that the gas equipment is compliant with the regulation. It is known as a Gas Safety Certificate but is widely referred to by gas engineers as a CP12 landlord certificate. To check that any gas equipment in property you rent out is compliant with regulations, our team of Gas Safe-certified gas engineers can come to your rental property at a time of your choosing and carry out an inspection with a minimum of fuss and disruption to your day. If work is needed to get a boiler or central heating system up to the required standard, we will recommend the most cost-effective way of doing so and get the work done as soon as we can.
Emergency work
Broken boilers and burst pipes have no respect for the time of day or how busy you are! We therefore provide an emergency call-out service to get you up and running again. Whether it’s a plumbing leak at 2 am or a faulty boiler when you’re already late for work, we will do our utmost to get to you quickly and fix the problem.

They did such a good job for us and we are very happy with our brand new bathroom. Very professional job, by a very professional team. They even held our hand with answering texts to check whether parts were ok as we were ordering them.
